Delhi Universiy is going to conduct common entrance test for admission to Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)a four-year integrated professional degree programme of Elementary Teacher Education offered after the senior secondary (class XII) stage of school.

Delh University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013 Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: To apply for Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013 candidate must have passed the Class XII examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other Board recognised as equivalent to the CBSE and should have secured at least 50% marks and an aggregate of minimum 55% in the same four subjects.

Age limit: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before July 15, 2013.

How to apply for Delhi University B.El.Ed Admissions 2013

Application procedure: Application form for Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013 can be obtained from the following branches of SBI (State Bank of India) on payment of Rs. 300/- (for SC/ ST/ PwD) and Rs.450/- (for Other Categories)

2) Gargi College
3) Shahdara
4) Prashant Vihar
5) Sector 11 Dwarka
6) B-Block, Connaught Place

Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013 application form can be obtained by post also from CIE - Bank draft of Rs. 375/- (for SC/ST/ PwD)and Bank draft of Rs.525/- (for Other Categories) from a Nationalised Bank, payable at Delhi, in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi.

Please submit the duly filled application form at any of the following centres or by post in an envelope with Acknowledgement Receipt by registered post to reach the Dean, Faculty of Education, Department of Education (CIE), University of Delhi, 33 Chhatra Marg, Delhi - 110 007, on or before June 06, 2013 :

- Gargi College, Siri Fort Road; New Delhi – 110 049
- Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Punjabi Bagh (West), New Delhi – 110 026

Important dates:
- Sale of Prospectus cum application form for Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013 will start from 22 May 2013

- Last Date for submission of Application Forms for Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013: 6 June 2013 by 04:00 p.m.

- Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2012 Entrance Test schedule at various Test Centres will be conduct on 24 June 2013 at 9:30 a.m.

Delhi University B.El.Ed. Admissions 2013 Scheme of the Common Entrance Examination

The Written Entrance Test will be of 3 hours duration. It will consist of two sections A and B of Multiple Choice Questions as per the details mentioned below with Class XII marks weightage (10 marks):

Section A:
Bilingual Language Comprehension: 35 marks
Mathematical Thinking & Reasoning: 35 marks

Section B:
Subject Knowledge (Science upto Class X) : 35 marks
Subject Knowledge (Social Sciences upto Class X): 35 marks
