Mauli, though, is not just a singer. She is multi-talented. She not only won the 2007 Miss Teen India Texax contest, but reached the final of Sony TV's 2003 dance reality show Boogie Woogie Chalo America. Those who watched Zee TV's program Parrivaar would have been surprised to see Mauli Dave shaking a leg as a belly dancer! Mauli also played the main character's role in a tele-film called Ek Anhonee.

Mauli's brother Omkar Dave, too, is a fount of musical talent. He not only lent his vocals to a bhajan album with Mauli, but also did the music arrangement. The album titled Prabhu Tare Pagathiye was released in 2006. The alhum has one Hindi bhajan and the other bhajans are in the Dave's mother tongue, Gujarati. It includes the Narasinh Mehta's Vaishnavajan To Tene Re Kahiye bhajan.

The young lady is studying graphics communication at the University of Houston. Education and other work, however, will take a backseat as Mauli shows off another facet to her character – a fearless aspect in Khatron ke Khiladi season 4.
