62nd Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2011

The 62nd Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2011 ended after a great and spectacular show of India's ever growing Defense Power and rich culture and heritage.

The President of Indonesia was the chief guest for the 62nd Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2011.

The parade by various regiments of Army, Air Force and Navy was breathtaking. The spectators were mesmerized, delighted and felt proud to see the latest version of Fighter tanks, Missiles and latest fighter jets like Sukhoi.

There were jhankis from Odissa, Assam, Tripura, Bihar, Kerala and many other states. The theme of the Jhanki from Delhi was Unity in Diversity. The Jhanki was very well decorated with the message that all religions in India are same and it is the Unity in Diversity in India that Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and other religions exist together and live happily.

The spectators however were amazed to see the culture of different states.
