Once you are selected in regional audition at Delhi or any region where audition will take place, you are among the 100 lucky person to go to Mumbai for theatre round. The theatre round will be usually in the month of April or May 2010. The final 100 candidates from all over India will be called to Mumbai for theatre round. The fare to will be paid to all the contestants of Indian idol in theatre round. The contestants of Indian idol 5 will be asked to perform the pre selected songs either partial or full, the contestants may even be asked to perform either single or in pair or even in group. The selection of songs will be sole discreation of the producer of the show and the judges of Indian idol 5. The song will be in Hindi only and no regional songs will be allowed in theatre round of Indian idol. The make up for the contestants of Indian idol 5 is also the sole dicreation of producer of Indian idol 5 and all costs of the make up will be beared by the producer. After the theatre round of Indian Idol 5, the selected 15 candidates will be informed by the producer for the lext level that is Piano round of Indian idol 5. The selection in theatre round will be done by judges of Indian idol 5, no public voting will be in theatre round of Indian idol. The selection for Piano round of Indian idol is ideally 15 candidates but can be increased or decreased if the producer and judges agrees and will be sole discreation of producer of Indian idol 5.
